Ken is a psychologist who works in a grounded, relational, and insight-oriented way. His focus is helping clients move beyond surface-level symptom management and toward meaningful, lasting change. His approach is collaborative and reflective, creating space for clients to explore their internal experience with curiosity rather than judgement, and to understand the patterns shaping their thoughts, behaviours, and emotional responses.
Ken's clinical experience spans across community mental health and private practice, supporting individuals through anxiety, mood difficulties, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. He has a particular interest in working with unrelenting standards and perfectionism, supporting adults with ADHD, and applying positive psychology as a form of lifestyle coaching grounded in psychological principles. Ken draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), tailoring his approach to each client's needs.
Ken works with adults across a range of life stages, with particular interest in emotional regulation, relational patterns, identity development, and navigating periods of transition and change. Clients working with Ken can expect to be both supported and challenged, encouraged to develop deeper self-understanding while being guided to translate insight into intentional change aligned with the life they want to build.
